My love of painting and drawing spans five decades. This passion led to my first career as an animator with its emphasis on drawing, movement and gesture. I left for a time to study painting at Concordia under Peter Krausz, Guido Molinari and Susan Scott returning to animation as a background painter. My full-time painting career began in 2004 with a solo show of two dozen works and representation by galleries in Toronto and Montreal. Since my move to Prince Edward County in 2017, I have been teaching drawing and painting at The Baxter Art Centre and at The Arts Lab.
